Entry 21 of 32 | show all | print this entry

Just a quick entry, we only stayed in Bangkok for a night before we took another overnight bus to get down to Ko Tao.
First thing. The overnight trains in Thailand are fun if you like that sort of thing (I do) they fold the seat down and pull out another one, bring meals to you, its better than some hotels we've been to.
Second thing. The ping pong show (look it up, prepare youreslf) in Bangkok is horrible and one of the wierdest things Ive ever seen, "show" is a bit of a rich word for it to be honest, spectacle maybe. I saw a girl get hit in the eye by a bottle top opened in a way which would give health and safety officers in th UK nightmares - she said that she was going to send the bottle top to her boyfriend too. Christ that place is wierd. Apart fromthat it was a bit of a good night, drinking buckets of whiskey on a street bar then drinking buckets of whiskey in a club, not bad. We also ran into dsomeon we'd met in Pai, the other side of the country, in a 7-11, at 4.30 am, bizarre.
To the beach!!!
