I wonder if the name "Woop Woop" that great Aussie expression to describe the middle of nowhere came from a bird...cause it sounds like its what they are saying..."Woop Woop" but then they add on the "waaaaaaahhhaaaaa" bit just to make sure you're awake... hate that... "woop, woop, waaahaa".
In Sydney we heard the bell birds which Trish reckons sound like someone pushing a wheelbarrow with a squeaky wheel ...now, why a few thousand people are are pushing wheelbarrows around the burbs of Sydney at 6am is beyond me...and beyond sleep...then ye have the sweet nasal notes from Trish, as we all know women DON'T snore...and then sleep, perchance to dream? "he's dreamin' "... I wish!
On the way to Gloucester we passed through the usual lovely gobsmackin' scenery and a town called Stratford, which is on the river??? Yup, Avon and of course they have a Shakespeare Festival every year.
Now...is it just me or are there a few things wrong with a "Babies Bathroom"...like... how would a baby reach the handle, that is presuming the wee tacker could read in the first place and if so what's he/she doing out on their own anyway, how they get there, crawl??
Bloody parents these days...I don't know...in our day...WELL...
It rained most of today so when it rains, one of course thinks of food...time for Dec to get crackin on them Peanut Choc chip cookies, I know Rob I've let the mens movement down again...SORRY!!
We decided even though it was wet we should drive through the mountains , great choice, great views even though theredespite the lack of vision from the top we both reckon this place deserves a return visit...see below...This has to be one of the friendliest parks we've been in in a long time...some great remarks so far are..."yeah, its cold but it makes ye just sleep closer together" ... we walked into town the other day and the couple "next door" drove past and offered us a lift, we declined as it was a lovely evening and we REALLY needed the excercise, then this evening we had dinner outside, with candles (as you do, cause it was dark!!) and the remark from the neighbour was..."not only are ye fit but you're romantic too"...ahhhh Rob he took the words out of your mouth... we're on the road to Tamworth...more from there later.
