After having just spent the entire day before at Disneyland, at still feeling somewhat jet-lagged we were reluctant to have our travels take us too far, BUT there were certainly some things that needed to be attended to - namely the toilet door! So first thing we're back at Moturis (the rental company), getting the lock on the toilet door changed (stay tuned, 'cause there's more on that story, and various other bits and pieces that we needed.
After that we headed out to a 'super centre' type place for the sole purpose of buying a GPS system. Well, we ended up getting the GPS ok, as well as a video camera, as well as a new camera for Tara for her birthday, as well as an Ninetendo for Harrision for his birthday, a mobile phone ... etc, etc. Now you know how long it takes to have a look at all the different varieties, features and benefits of just ONE type of product, so you can understand how our little trip ended up taking us hours! I do have to add though - how did we ever travel without a GPS system??? It certainly saves on the domestics....
We finished up the day doing an almighty grocery shop, and I have to admit it felt so good to have fresh fruit and produce in the fridge, and some cereals that didn't taste solely of sugar!
Our first proper meal in the campervan was heaven. Even the kids commented how nice it was. Two days into the trip and we're so over takeaways...
