Dave and I got an early start and made it to the quilt show today.  Leaving Salina and driving on into KC we were reminded that Kansas is not flat. We found the way to be full of green rolling hills and lots of trees.
We had enough time to thoroughly check everything out at the quilt show before they closed for the day.  So many wonderful quilts again...yes they were different from the ones on display in SLC.  LOL  My pictures don't do the quilts justice as I don't always take a full shot but focus in on bits and pieces of the magical quilting that is done.  SO much talent.  That is what I want to be able to do when I grow up. Dave and I visited with the Prodigy people who were there demoing the quilting machine.  I will see them next month at the 3 day training seminar I am attending.  I visited all of the vendors, wore myself out and spent some money.  Isn't that what you are supposed to do?
Upon leaving the show we were faced with commute traffic...The road out of town was stop and go for miles, so we went to Applebee's for a leisure dinner, leaving town after the rush of traffic was done.
All is well, no storms today. Pictures to be added later.  ;)

I think after waiting for the storm to pass, you deserved to treat yourself. Besides, think of it as doing your part to help the economy :)
Thanks for keeping us updated on your travels; the pictures are great.
