Due to tornado warnings to the east of us, we decided not to take off and drive into the bad weather today.  Made good use of the layover by cleaning house, laundry, and hair cuts.  Lots of fun.....but it was even more exciting having the tornado warnings and then alerts come in on the emergency radio.  15 miles SE of us was a tornado sighting.  I didn't hear of any damage but we got the fringes of wind, rain, thunder, lighting, and hail.  All is quiet and sunny now.  The little rabbits are out of their hidy holes running around so we must be safe.  LOL
On to Kansas City in the morning.  MQS= quilts, quilts and more quilts

WOW! That's scary to have a tornado that close. Happy to hear you're safe.

That weather brings back bad memories. I'm glad you were able to stay clear of it and stay safe. 15 miles away is much too close though. Stay tuned to the radio... spring is here! xoxo V

I was raised in Wichita, Haysville, and Clearwater until 1965. So,
I have a real healthy fear of a tornado. Stay safe.
