We've got loads of photos by the way, but we can't upload them yet, so check back in a bit for bullet riddled buildings and Vinny's beard (The horror).
Sarejevo is pretty non-discript during the day. It's just another eastern European city with cafes and markets and loads of people with not very much to do. At night though, it's fantastic. Thousands of beautiful people without a care in the world fill the streets to bursting point, drinking, having a good time, laughing at the English men. Brilliant.
Watching the football yesterday was fun, as I was supporting Sweden and Vinny was with Germany
01 Sarejevo - From up a hill
. Forty minutes in and two nil down, and down to ten players, Vinny gave me odds of 35 to 1 for a Sweden victory. I bet 5 marks (about one pound fifty) and started to pray.... But it was not to be. The Argentina game was a little more interesting, as the pesky Mexicans put up a good fight.But anyway, I don't have time as we've got to get ready for the England game in a few hours. We fully intend on being the only England fans in Sarejevo, and making up for that with noise levels.
In other news, we received a bit of a blow today, as we thought we were on the way to becoming the most popular Travelpod site in the world, as the number one spot only had 10,000 hits.... Then we realised that was a monthly figure, and we actually need to get to 250,000....... bugger. So tell all your friends about it - even if you hate us. And keep reading the same page again and again and again, to up our count. Those that favour Vinny's style can read his page a hundred times a day!!!!
