If you are ready for great music, great shops, and extraordinary people then head to the big apple! It's a wonderful time to let loose and enjoy the bright lights and big eyes of the aspiring starlets. To add to the already thrilling adventure we took a quick detour from our new found city lives and went the John Mayer concert in Bethel Woods. Bethel Woods is a hot minute from the city but it is a wonderful scene for a concert. The rolling hills were the perfect acoustics for the born and raised tour. After that night under the stars listening to a harmonious 3 hours of harmonica, whistling and singing, NYC had already exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate enough to have 2 wonderful hotels during our stay! The first, the Tuscany was beautiful and had a extremely helpful and kind staff! The next day, Elena was feeling sick so we took a NyQuil movie day to help her recover. The following day we decided to find our inner artists and we headed to SOHO, a shopping heaven in NYC. Agreeing with us was Rihanna, who we spotted in a rather expensive boutique. We thought we wouldn't encounter anything more exciting then the sea of people gushing over the R&B singer, but then we were pulled into a cashmere premiere boutique by a fiery redhead Carola, who offered a night out in our next stop Boston if we came in and acted interest in the clothes. A blissful afternoon and some great three cheese pasta later and we were switching hotels and seeing time square from our 2nd hotel, the Marriott. Although we only had a couple hours the next day we took full advantage of it and had Popsicles in Central Park.
