It's a 24 hour trip from Helsinki to Rostock, Germany.
I decide to sleep in a chair, well in the end it's the floor with a borrowed blanket but that's fine for me! This boat is much smaller then the ones that cross between Sweden and Finland and not busy at all. So no drunken people running around this time luckily. I can spend my time in peace and quiet writting up my diary and reading a book.

Through Couchsurfing (an internetsite on which people offer their couch/bed for free) I contacted Johanna and Henning. I can stay the night at their place. The fact that I arrive at 22.00 o'clock is no problem at all! We even spend a few hours talking with hot tea! The next morning Johanna has to leave very early, but Henning offers me a lovely breakfast with homemade jam. How lucky am I! It's a shame I can not spend more time with them as I need to ride about 550km today making my way back to Holland. Hope to meet again some day. Leute, Vielen Dank!
