Bags packed, saying goodbye, time to go!
Not a final goodbye though, cos I will be back for the end party in a few weeks time!

Exploring (more of) Suomi now. Making my way towards Savonlinna, more north after that, Lapland if there is time and back down again. Unless I get 'stuck' again at another campsite and decide to stay there for  2 weeks as well ;-)

On my first day I did not get very far as I started riding well into the afternoon. Taking some of the smaller roads via Heinola, going east towards Savitaipale. Along the way lots of tree, lakes and also a very interesting 'house' with things that looked like sculptures or such. Cannot understand lots of Finnish yet, but reading the words EU and Poliisi, I think the owner was protesting big time!
Where to sleep? On the map it showed a campsite on the water, so I decided to check it out.
It looked completely deserted. Well, even better, I can pitch my tent for free. No need for a shower when you have a whole lake to yourself! Asked for some water and bread (forgot to go shopping!) from a lovely couple on a boat and enjoyed the scenery!

In the morning went for nude dip in the lake (it really is more nice to swim without bikini!). After breakfast I should have moved on, but got hooked on searching for beautiful stones. For those who don't know it yet, it has become an addiction to find shells, stones and other things on beaches. Managed to keep the total down to 'only' 5!
