After busy Köln it was time to leave the tourist crowds behind again...back to nature, my bicycle and being on the move! But first I make my good luck ankle bracelet as it is also time to face my first hills. And I did.....for Dutchie like me the first hill felt like a mountain! but.....I managed to climb it without walking or resting, bloody proud of myself!

At some point I saw this great field full of sunflowers! Decided there and then this would be my next camping spot.
So I went to the nearest house to ask if I could put my tent for one night on the field next to it, no problem. No shower available but I could use the outside tap to clean myself a bit. Enough. Tomorrow I will find a shower somewhere.
It was possible for people to come and pick the sunflowers, leaving money in a little box. There I was sitting there cooking my meal, people thought I was the owner guarding the field that evening ;-))

The view of the sunflowers was great, what I failt to notice when I made the impulsive the decision was the fact that it was right next to a railway track and the that the field was full of prickly plants (brandnetels)....ah well!

Next morning had a tea with a nearby neighbour and ready to cycle again!
