Very lazy day at the beach and wandering the town. I spent a little time at bar Arriba so I could stare at Gato and Maw,.... I mean... So I could Skype my momma...Ugh... they are so yummy... I will get their picture before I leave...I'm determined.

At 6:30 we piled in Rhea Lynn's sisters car and drove just outside of town to the jungle. Yes into the middle of the rain forest to watch Bambi play soccer. Yes, soccer in the middle of the rain forest. I can think of so many of my friends who would DIE to play soccer in a rain forest. There is a small turf field in the middle of no where and we had front row seats on the balcony over looking the field. I think if I lived in Samara, I would simply buy a hammock to sleep in by the field. For the next two hours I got to watch gorgeous men running around (shirts optional) and at the same time brush up on my Spanish profanity! I loved every second of it. During the second half of Bambi's game (he plays on a team with an Italian, a Brazilian, 2 Ticos, and 2 Argentinians) the rain started coming down. Within 2 minutes of starting it was a tropical storm. IT WAS BUCKETING... Or as they would say here raining toads and snakes! ❤️❤️❤️

Then came the thunder and lightening! Wow!!! It was beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Rhea Lynn and I just finished saying how loud and close the last one was (probably a mile off) when a bolt struck the metal roof right next to us... Literally, ( yes Craig dehning) LITERALLY 7 feet from my head!!!!! I've NEVER seen lightening that close and the thunder cracked at the same time and it was soooo loud I thought my ear drums were going to burst! It was AMAZING! The guys didn't mind the torrential downpour and finished their game with the lightening and thunder surrounding them... Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

Until next time, I will be floatin in the wind...

LOVE hugs and girly besos,

The flyin dandelion
