My bags are packed and I am off!!
After several months of planning and eager anticipation, the biggest single trip I have ever undertaken is finally here. Maybe it is the wonderful thought of the $1 beer in Prague or nervous anticipation about the finicy British weather (normally not anything to be reliably counted on - much like Newfoundland) - I am not sure but the moment is here and I am off to the airport chauffered by Colin.
The trip is off to a worrysome start as I watch the end of the Montreal/Carolina hockey game - my last NHL for 2 weeks to come. Montreal has been dominating the series but they end up losing the game, I hope its not a sign of things to come for them.
Time to get some sleep on the plane as tomorrow (or actually today in UK time) will be very, very busy as I head to Edinburgh and try and get as much sightseeing in. I hope the weather cooperates!!!
