The city is beautiful, the people are friendly, an incredible amount to see and do, and well, the beer is always cold.....
Five of us carried on from Amsterdam to Munich. I think we all fell in love with it instantly! We should have left Amsterdam sooner.
On the first night we headed out for dinner and of course some of the Oktoberfest fun. We ended the night at the infamous Hofbrauhous. What a great time it was there! I was surprise to find out just how heavy a litre of beir really is!
Day two we went on a walking tour of the city
Castle near Fusson
. It was Fabulous!! On our way back to the hostel we did a little shopping and bought the girls drindles!! FUN! Off to Oktoberfest tonight!!! We went to the grounds, found a place in a beir tent, and well, stayed the rest of the night!Day three we headed on the train to Fussen to see some castles! Again - what a day!! That night we went back to the Hafbrauhous.....
Day four Brent and Val headed to London leaving three of us. We headed on the train to Dachau. We went to the memorial, it is very well done. It was a hard thing see and learn more about, but something you need to do if you are in this area. This was our last night here, so again....off to Hafbrauhous!
