Lazed around the hostel after check out till around 1, where we headed out to get our lunch. We had lunch at a eatery just down the street, for only 6soles! A drink, chicken soup and grilled chicken with rice.

We walked to the bus station to catch a bus to the mirador, around 27km away from town. It was a northbound bus to Lima, but we would drop at the mirador for 3 soles.

The landscape was barren. We soon reached the mirador, a simple tower made of metal just by the side of the highway. It was 4 stories high at most. We had to pay 2 soles to walk up the stairs. At the top, we could see two figures of the Nazca lines - a tree, and a creature with 9 fingers.

We then headed down the road where we came from, for another mirador on a hill. It was 1km apart, and vehicles kept honking at us while we walked by the side of the road. We eventually reached after 20 minutes. The hill didn't show any major figures, but was the centre of 50 lines with radiated outward.

After that, we flagged a local bus heading in the direction of Nazca for 2 soles per person.

Went back to the hostel to rest after that, and left to deposit our bags at the bus station at 7.30. Revisited the same eatery where we had dinner yesterday and had the 6soles menu - I had fish this time. Great value.

Had articuchos(cow heart) for the last time from the same roadside stall, before heading back to the bus station to board our 10pm bus for Arequipa.
