What I did

Got up for breakfast around 8:50am to some good weather. Decided to book the cab to the Perito Moreno Glacier (ars550) at 11am. The ride took around 1.5 hours, and we had to pay entrance fee of ars130 each at the entrance to the park.

The glacier was magnificent. Ultra huge and vast. It extended beyond the horizon and was several meters high, 5km wide. Walked along the boardwalk of the park to take pictures of the glacier. Lucky moment came as we were about to have lunch: heard thundering noises and saw a portion of the glacier face crack and fall off. The subsequent ice that dropped into the water caused large turbulence in the water with a ripple effect. Spectacular indeed.

Spent around 2 hours at the park before heading back. Well worth the trip to admire one of the greatest sights on earth.
