We went on the Barossa Valley Wine tour which i thought would be a normal tour going out and a party bus on the way back! but that wasnt the case!! We visited the toy factory which has a massive wooden rocking horse outside, and we went round the back where they have a wildlife reserve area..
. soon as you open the gate to it you get surrounded my hens, chickens, ducks, peacocks, geese was totally hillarious they even had some kangaroos and wallabys, we were petting them and the kangaroos are really soft to touch lol was funny. Afterwards we went and visited our first winery, Jacobs Creek which you will find in tescos at home! They had some good stuff, i liked the sweet white reisling wine and i liked alot of their red wine! The second winery we went do was the best, it was called Vine Creek and i must say i liked everything i drank there lol was good stuff, we then went to another winery where they took us into the cellar showed us all the big wine barrels and the different presses for the wine, like ZERO percent of the grape gets wasted, we then had a big bbq lunch and we were eating a marinated kangaroo which tasted a damn sight better than the roadkill kangaroo i tried up in darwin! We then visited the final winery and i thought by this stage i would be getting carried into the place but i was walking no bother at all... this is when if you wanted to get drunk you would have to go for it lol but like you just choose what you wanted to taste here so i just started from the top of the list and worked my way down.... danielle was just throwing away the wine she didnt like but i just swallowed everything... gotta get your moneys worth from the tour!! Danielle tended to like the Rose wines the best and i fancied alot of the red wines was a good day and the view from the final winery over the valley was good! On the way back it wasnt a party bus at all.... everyone was sleeping after their fill of food and drink :)
We finally made Adelaide which was 800k or so from Coober Pedy, its so much greener down here and the car is still going!! I just dont know how its still running! i think we poured around 60 litres of water into the radiator so far lol We stayed at a place called BackpackerOZ which is a great wee hostel, the put on a free bbq every weds night so was good getting a free scoff :) the hostel itself just has a good homely feel to it was a nice place to stay indeed, We just had a walk around the town, and right enough theres loads of churches scattered around adelaide, the city is like the biggest place we have been in since perth!
