Which it has been for the last three days pretty much non-stop. Well to be fair Robinson Crusoe island is still pretty good and I still achieved my plan of sitting around doing nothing but it was just under cover of bamboo shacks rather than on the beach.

Obviously Robinson Crusoe Island got its name because it is pretty isolated and the only thing on the island is the resort that you stay in. Meals and activities were all included in the price and the only thing you had to pay for was drinks. The Fijian people who work there put on some pretty cool fire shows and dances etc. Me and Chris, a guy from Greece, come close to getting blown out to sea when we tried to Kayak to the reef in pretty windy conditions. Only we were oblivious to how strong the wind was behind us. When we realised the reef was a lot further away than it first appeared we turned around. That was when it dawned on us we had a major struggle to get back to the island with the waves getting bigger and wind getting stronger. Chris's Kayak capsized and he lost his t-shirt, snorkel and suntan lotion (not that he needed it). It took us about 45 minutes to eventually get back to the island and it had only taken us about 10 minutes to get to where we turned around. Although for once I didn't feel completely shattered. Maybe all those activities in New Zealand paid off. Wasn't the best idea I've ever had though. Also saw a sea snake sticking its head out the sea when we were battling to try and get back to the island, which I was more worried about than getting blown out to sea because if one of those things bite you its game over.

I would have been tempted to stay on the island longer had it not been for the weather but I figured if I'm going to be paying to lounge around doing nothing in the rain I might as well save my money for my final stop on this trip. The place I've been looking forward to the most. The place where I've been tempted everyday to just kick this whole journey in the head and go straight there. Yes. VEGAS. So I've brought my flight forward and flying out tomorrow night to L.A. Then it's make or break time and if necessary every penny I've got is going with me to the poker tables and I'm not leaving until either I'm totally skint (probably) or I've made more money than I started with when I left. So I'll probably see you all back at home in the next few days. Wish me luck. Time to gamble!!!!

Just remember
Don't forget how Vegas has got as huge as it now is? It's from the 'Losers' not the 'Winners'! Good luck anyway, try to know when to walk away!!!
