Ready for the off!

Can't believe it's finally June and I only have 2 weeks left till D-day. The career break's granted, the house is let, the mail's redirected, the savings are in the bank and the bag is packed... I'm ready to go. It's sixteen years since i left Japan for S.E.Asia, planning to visit India en-route home and i never quite made it! So it's hard for me to believe I'm finally going to be there after all this time - wish me luck on my big adventure! And watch this space for details of my progress. It won't be a very literary offering (if it's anything like my emails, it will be full of typos...)and the technology may well defeat me but, all being well, you'll be able to track me as I go (if you have nothing better to do!) and keep me up to date with what I'm missing back home...and please do as I will be dying to hear the news while I'm away.
How many days left...?!

I'm jealous! And the trip tracking device on the map is great. Maybe you'll end up in Malawi when you do VSO? Meantime, you'll have to put up with my prose - mine will be dry business like!

I'm really jealous! I like the world trip tracking device on the site. Maybe you'll end up in Malawi when you start VSO and we'll meet again?
don't worry about the prose, mine will be business like and dry as anything...
