Winter life is slow here in Fuji city. Though graduation is soon, and school life is whizzing by, time seems to freeze with the weather as soon as we get home to the refuge of our kotatsus (heated tables). We've managed to get out a little bit, but going outside isn't always pleasant, to say the least.

We've posted some photos from our most recent excursions to Tokyo, where we checked out the museum of emerging science in contemporary Odaiba, as well as the original museum of science where we were able to check out the Great Robot Expo....some neat robots, but Asimo was a tad disappointing. The 360 degree theatre made up for it though! Crazy!

Coming of Age Day was also January 14th, where girls turning 20 dress up in their best kimonos and visit a local shrine.

There are some new photos from Fuji posted, including New Year's resolutions from Fiona's students.

Lastly, what's with all the Kit Kat flavours here, hoho! To date we've seen:

regular, white, dark, caramel, green tea, vanilla beans, red bean, cookies n cream, strawberry, orange, apple, kiwi, cantaloupe, banana, midnight eagle, grape, purin (flan), watermelon and now sakura!

So far the cookies n cream, green tea, kiwi, and cantaloupe are the best!
