Our last stop of the weekend is to Himeji, which is home to another biggest in Japan. This time it's the biggest castle, and certainly bigger by far. It's fun to wander the hallways, and we also get to pose with the Shogun and his Geisha, haha!

Just before visiting the castle, we checked out some Edo era style gardens next door, which were quite pretty, especially at thie time of year. And after the castle, we enjoyed some black sesame ice cream (yummy!) and chestnut ice cream (also oishi!) before checking out a small museum, and then heading home on the shink.
