We arrived at the ranch today at about 1 o' clock and it is like being on a film set for a country and western film!
I drove today from Kingsman which wasn't a long drive but it involved a 22 mile dirt track! Our car was white and now it's brown! I still can't get over how hot it is here during the day! 105 F!
We checked into our cabin that we are staying in which is right infront of the horses stables! We have 2 rocking chairs on our porch where we can watch a wagon go past taking people up to the look out point.
At 6 pm, we saddled up and took a horse backride to the lookout point and had a glass of champagne while watching the sunset! It was just stunning! Russ had a horse that was hungry because it kept wondering off the main track to eat some tumbleweed.

Dinner was at 8pm. We had a T Bone steak, backed potato and corn on the cob. It was all really tasty. After dinner we all sat round the fire listening to a local old guy singing old cowboy songs. It was all just so typical. Even the Cowboys were completely stereotypical, but the image was ruined by the mobile phones on their belts instead of guns! Mind you they did wear spurs and chaps so it wasn't all bad.

All in all it's been an amazing day and i'll be sad to leave here because it's such a nice place.

Tomorrow we are heading to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
