Well folks I've decided to call myself El Matador from here on in as I've been I saw and I survived Mexico along with getting back into the U.S. with minimum hassle. I gotta tell you the walking it is not for the faint hearted, I cabbed it in to Mexico because I had no idea where my hotel was (long story) but I decided I'd be adventurous and walk back to America. Ok it was fun standing on the line between the two countries walking in and out of both but I quickly got bored of that when I realised how many dudes where hanging around asking me if I needed to buy a passport etc Also its uphill from Mexico to the American border and with two heavy bags and the sun beating down on you it really takes it out of you. Here is one to make you sweat, I found out just before I left the hotel that my Visa is supposed to have a multiple entry stamp to get back in and it doesn't but the American Consulate never said anything about that when I checked, coming in they asked where I was coming from and where I was going and sent me on my - way guess the chick liked me ;-)
Well as the song says "I can't wait to get back in the States and the cutest girls in the world" - well I'm back in El Paso airport now well ahead of schedule as usual and having a few beers before setting off to the live music capital of the world, Austin, Texas and my last bit of partying as I won't be partying in Ohio or New York (I'll have a few cold ones though) !! This has been one hell of a trip, you know what I need a holiday after my holiday - I'm getting burned out and its not just the sunburn !
