Took our bags to the train station and left them in a safe locker by the platform for the day. It didn't look that safe to me, but none of us fancied carrying our bags around all day.
We didn't do a whole lot today, went to Wawel castle, which is where the Nazi's had a stronghold during the second world war, it makes sense really, as they were using Krakow as their base of operations, and Wawel is absolutely enormous, so there wouldn't be much chance of them getting attacked.
Amongst others, we had kebabs, ice-cream and bar, all around the main square in Krakow (the 2nd biggest in the world dont you know!) and had lunch at a different milk bar. Had dinner at a nice restaurant at the top of the square, then made the short walk to the train station to get our bags and get on the train.
Got into the cabin we would be sleeping in and met the other 3 people in the cabin, who were 3 nice spanish lads. We had some drinks with them and crashed out eventually. The cabin was absolutely tiny, with triple bunk beds on both sides, so manuevering around with 6 people was difficult to say the least. The pictures may convey the complete lack of space, but it was fun nonetheless.
