16 days to go

Well, the time is getting closer. Just 16 days till the start of the big one! It's amazing really because it seems like that I am nowhere near ready, plus the nerves are starting to kick in. I finished work last Thursday (huge sigh of relief) and have just had the most awesome 4 day long leaving do (check out the pictures). Special thanks to everyone who turned up on Saturday, it was good to see you and I will miss you all. I've had a great two years in Duss, but its time to move on and do what I've always wanted to.

Good friends

Just have 2 days now to pack up any gear I haven't already sold in Germany and get it shipped back to the UK. Then I drive back on Thurs, where its more leaving dos and a mad panic to sell my car and remaining stuff. Still got to get some gear to take as well. I guess that I never paid any attention to the saying "prior preparation and planning prevents p*** poor performance".

No final plan at the moment, just got a one-way to Venezuela via Spain, where I'm stopping to see my brother for a couple of days. Then its Christmas and New Year with my family in Venezuela before heading off into the unknown for around 7 months. Guess I will work it out as I go along. Anyway keep reading the site. I promise it will get more interesting once I hit the road.
