So after the bliss of the Argentine lake district we arrive in Mendoza, its a laid back Agentine city with a good history of wine making. Here i hooked back up with Daniel one of the Irish fellas that i met in my first weeks in BA. Dan seemed in pretty good shape and had decided to continue on his round the world trip minus his friend Eli who had the accident. Whom is recovering really well and should back on his way to Ireland in around 3-4 weeks.
So after baking in the sun for a day by the pool we decided to take one of the famous wine trips. It was a pretty nice day and i learnt a few thing about wine making and at the end of the day we had a really good meal and went home very merry and content.
The remaining days in Mendoza were spent hanging around the excellent hostel "Andino´s" that my bird watching friend "Josh" (from BA) had kindly recommended. We ended up playing a lot football with the other travellers and had one big night out at the local pubs and bars, which was fun. After 4 days of chilling and not doing too much i decided to head north to Boliva and this is when i bumped into the Austrlian girls Melssia and Bellinda again. Well it wasn´t really a chance encounter because we both knew we were gona be in Mendoza but i had a plan and decided i had to leave that morning for Bolivia. they happened to arrive that morning and by sheer luck ran into me at the bus station where we meeted and greeted for about 30mins and then went our separate ways.
