What a day. Got up this morning with only a vague idea of where to go. I was in two minds about maybe having a slow day. Should have known that this would never work!

Early bus from Pak Chong (2hrs) to Khorat. Then another local bus to town of Phimai. This is a small town (village) with a great Khamer style tample about 1,000 years old. Now, I've seen lots of Khamer temples around Ankor Wat in Cambodia, but this one was also really nice. Known to be one of the best in Thailand.

Grabed a bite to eat and took a return bus back to Khorat. As I got there the last bus was leaving for Nang Rong, so a decition was quickly made to take it. This puts me a day ahead of a very rubbery schedule.

Got into town about 8pm, walked in the dark from the bus depot and somehow managed to find the right guesthouse.

Tomorrow I'm off on a motorbike exploring the best Thai temples of Phanom Rung around the Thai/Cambodian border.

If this is the last entry for a while, could someone contact the Oz authorities please...
