Paris is entertaining, you have to say that.  In the evening it simply comes alive.  People stay up late (well, wouldn't you when the sun sets at 22.30hrs) and wonder around enjoying the evening light show that Paris puts on.  The sunsets can be amazing (we tend to get up with the first bells of Notre Dame in the morning at 8am, so I can't at this stage comment on the sunrise).  People picnic everywhere in the evenings - in the parks, on the edge of the Seine, and on the pedestrian only bridge - the Pont des Arts et Metiers.

My sister Susan and her partner Seb have joined us in Paris, and last night we went out for the spectacle of the Eiffel tower at night - and a true spectacle it was.  You'll notice I was unable to restrict my photo additions for this entry (I have just sorted out how to load them today) - like postcards, everything just seems to look better by night.  Enjoy my little video too!!  After such a lovely experience out on some of our evenings, there will definitely be more to come including outdoor picnics and a ride on one of the boats down the Seine.  We tend to pop out after dinner every evening for at least a little while.  Tres belle!
