We wandered through the americanised plaza in the middle of El Salvador's capital 'San Salvador'. I suddenly spotted a pet store and dragged Zahn in to have a look. Not noticing the shop's name we swarmed inside with the crowd and gazed upon a gigantic yellow spotted python slithering its way up the cage wall, (it was about 2m long and about 100mm wide. The python ate one whole rabbit and took two weeks to digest it!)

Startled we turned around and came face to face with a black and brown, hairy tarantula, about the size of the palm of my hand!!

We walked outside and looked up upon the store's name. What we thought to be a normal pet store was actually named the 'The Exotic Pet Shop.' We walked back inside and explored the other animals. Once again we saw another 'exotic' animal. A green lizard was up for sale.
At that moment I thought to myself 'I am in the middle of San Salvador and staring at a cage of pet lizards for sale, in the middle of a pet shop, in the middle of a plaza!
Man, aren't I lucky!! :)
