Just finished 4 great days in Koh Phangan. I arrived on the day of the FMP and managed to get one of the last rooms on the island (but thats always the story you hear right). Power nap in my beach hut followed by a quick turnaround and I was off to the party. Drinks first on my beach (Thai barman had a Ireland jersey and once he knew I was Irish kept saying a'right bud in a perfect Ballybough accent), then jeep cab to the party with a bunch of Germans. The party was pretty mental - lots to keep you going til the early morning.
Effectively recovered for a few days on the beach with snorkeling and massages and sleep. Hung out with a few Ealing girls each night and there were a few more sessions.
Off to Koh Tao today for a Open Water Diving course.
