Hi Guys!
Sorry its been so long since we've done a blog but we've just been having so much fun!! Siem Reap is amazing! It's so nice here, the town is really pretty & relaxed & the people are lovely. We think It's as nice as Hoi An, but it has a better night life, which is always good! There are loads of cool bars with good music.
On our first day here we just took it easy after the 6 hour bus journey, which turned out to be not that bad. We just spent the day strolling around the local area getting to know the place.
The next day was the best, we hired a tuk tuk for the day to take us around the temples of Ankor Wat. It was really incredible, the temples are fantastic, they're probable one of the most amazing things we've ever seen & definitly a highlight of our trip so far
We liked Siem Reap so much we decided to stay an extra night, on our last day there we went on a really cool Quad bike adventure tour though the countryside. It was SO much fun! The bikes were deadly & it was great that we got to see the countryside & the people that live there. Everytime we passed a house all the kids would run out to wave to us as we passed by on the bikes, it was so cute! On the way we stopped off at an orphanage that was sponsered by the Quad company to spend time with the kids. Also, at the beginning of the trip there was a bit of an accident with 2 young french teenagers that we're rinding together, apparently the driver looked behind to see his dad & mom & they ended up flying into a river at the side of the road & they nearly got trapped under the Quad bike
After Siem Reap we are heading to Pattaya in the gulf of Thailand. It took us awhile to figure out where to go next.. so many options! But we decided on Pattaya as it's on the way to the Islands, so it will break up the journey & it's by the sea too.
So we'll talk to you all again soon,
BYE!

The amazing ruins of Angkor Wat
. Of all the temples we saw that day the best one's were the ruins hidden in the jungle that have huge trees growing out of the them. Its really incredible to see, its like the anchient temples & trees are intertwined & growing together! & also the Bayon which is a temple complex that is made up of 54 towers & on each of the towers are 4 huge stone faces! It was really stunning & kinda freaky. Another great thing about the temples is that almost every single stone they used to build them has some kind of really intricate design carved into it, the detail that went into it is unbelieveable. We liked Siem Reap so much we decided to stay an extra night, on our last day there we went on a really cool Quad bike adventure tour though the countryside. The many faces of Bayon
! Thankfully they were both ok, just shocked as you can imagine. After Siem Reap we are heading to Pattaya in the gulf of Thailand. It took us awhile to figure out where to go next.. so many options!
