Home Sweet Home.

Many times I've been accused of talking incessantly about how wonderful the Northwest is. How much better it is than, say, Illinois. Today my Dad and I took a quick motorcycle trip around the Kitsap Penninsula, just west of Seattle, WA, and I was reminded of how right I am to say things like that. I forget, living in flat'n'boring Illinois how utterly and unbelievably beautiful the Seattle area is. Hills and mountains and water an trees and green growing things everywhere. Pretty, small towns and wilderness within an easy hours drive of downtown Seattle. Drive for an hour from downtown Chicago and you're lucky if you're not still in Chicago.
To those of you whom I've aplogized to for harping on how wonderful Seattle is, I take my apology back. I have nothing to apologize for because I am absolutely right.
