Further down the road I fell asleep for close to an hour Felix tells me - I’m sure it was only a few minutes
We entered Hungary around one AM, Felix woke me to cross the border because I find it so fascinating the way you can just drive into another country and nobody knows or cares. I wanted to sleep in a camping ground, for some odd reason I was worried about camping in the forest, I don’t know why after we have been doing it for so long all over the place. Luckily the camp-ground was closed so my silly whim couldn’t be acted upon. The place we found we practically a camp-ground anyway. A little clearing in the trees, it looked like a place people regularly use judging by the rubbish and short flattened grass. The mosquitoes here were unbelievable, there were so many making their sound so loud even from outside the tent it sounded like they were inside.
We are very excited at the thought of making it to Sankt Marein bei Graz this afternoon - we were up earlier then usual and on the road pretty quick this morning
I am really looking forward to what this next chapter will bring. Felix and I have both signed up to WWOOF Austria which I am really looking forward to taking part in. Also we have a few short trips to Budapest and Prague planned, wether we take Nina or not is still unsure. So even though this little part is over - the Norway dream was fulfilled despite some monstrous battles and we went through the Baltic States, something I was really anxious about but am so glad we did. I think I enjoyed it more then Lofoten, I had so many exceptions for Norway and nothing for the Baltic States so there was nothing that wasn’t as I had dreamt it would be. And so thats it, if all goes to plan over the next few hours we should be in Sankt Marein in a few hours.
