When I made it down the river, several minutes before Felix who was taking pictures, I was so excited, the river was so beautiful! I was calling out to Felix in such excitement to hurry down, I just wanted him to see this beautiful sight
We spent the next few hours swimming and sitting naked on a rock in the middle of the river in the sun. The rock had a funny lichen growing on it that left us bright yellow wherever it touched us, from sitting on it we had comically yellow bottoms. After swimming we spent a while climbing, scrambling, jumping, crawling and sliding over the cliffs downstream to where we stopped and spent a few hours carving sticks and making a water turbine. We could have spent hours more down by the river but very hungry tummies were calling so we scrambled up the slopes again and back to our camp. Felix did some home improvements on out tent while I cook dinner/lunch.
Later in the evening, while most of our half of the world was falling into a dark night and we were still enjoying full sunshine, we went for walk to where Felix spotted the possible moose on the first day. Unfortunately no moose or any other animals, but further down the road we came to a very old road that lead down to the river and some remains of a bridge
In bed I didn’t sleep until sometime after three AM, I was very tired from an active day but my mind was racing around. I was mainly thinking about life back home, getting excited about having an address again, a veggie garden and hopefully a dog. But this was all just something to keep out the thought of my real worries - Ural worries.
