After the parade we went into this food tent and for some totally dumb reason were standing in the walkway. It was so swishy and we were getting constantly shoved and pushed
Finally we left the dancing tent and went and stood out in the snow for some reason. Some odd guy no one knew wanted us to take pictures of us with him. After awhile when someone must have noticed it was so cold, we went into a pub. It was better here, there was a bit of room to move and less like a rave party and it was possible to talk to people. I started to feel better here after a few hours when everyone settled down and stopped trying to make me dance like a monkey and we could talk and joke around.
After all, Fasching ended well. At about maybe seven or eight, I have no idea of the time really, we went to this great kebab place near Tanja’s house and had some dinner. After dinner we went over the road and played pool. Playing pool makes everything better, even if all I want to do is "smash it" – just as much fun as trying to sink them! As we were walking home from playing pool, one of the guys who was with us, 'Shlodder,’who is slightly crazy but has a heart of gold and can do double back-flips on skis, called out to me “Hey Floss, do you know this song ‘Insie Winsie Spider’?” I started singing for him and doing the actions. For the rest of the way home and half the night the boys were singing this song, half German half English “Hang on, how does that bit go?” It really was a moment, walking home in the snow in a small German village teaching ‘Insie Winsie Spider’ to those guys.
