There are actually trash cans along the street (a la Singapore) and the place is fairly clean, food's good, room's clean (with shower, yaaaay!).
Not much to do here though, only visited a printing press where they print Tibetan scriptures, and also a monastery that was closed.
Had vodka last night and ended up with a horrible headache.
Not even a hangover, cos I haven't even slept yet!!!
Seems like alcohol at high altitude is no joke.... I'm gonna buy some Coke / Sprite instead

The night of 28 May, we had a hotpot dinner to celebrate Rob's bday, as well as for Nimrod's farewell.
Unfortunately, the poor little town doesn't exactly have much to offer, so we ended up with chicken wing TIPS instead of the wings, chicken's feet, yak's stomach... SIGH!
Still, it was fun.
The night was spent getting drunk on vodka redbull + sprite, except me: opting for Coke instead.
Coke + peanuts + chips with Jay Chou's face on the wrapper ain't half bad. hehe

a stuffed yak!!! that's sure a lot of fur to get onto sammi's clothes!! the colours in the monasteries are sooooooo beautiful, as are the street lights n dragon roofs! (btw, next time, bring a creative player all loaded with dvds) *hugs* - kjj
