the mozzies went on a killing spree yesterday, and i, Feli the Sweet-blooded Wong, was the entree, main course and dessert all rolled into one, considering how they never relented, feasting thru out the night and early morning.
the result:
my left eyelid is swollen now, i look as if i were punch in the face without getting bruised.
and i have another couple more bites on my forehead, i look like.... premature Luo Han fish.
my hands look fatter than usual too, no thanks to the bites.
uurrghhh!

why oh why did i save S$2 and took a non-aircon room?

looking on the bright side, at least no one here knows me.

so, my train's at 12plus, and i'm starving -- i want Ya Kun!!!!!
went out to walk around a bit, but no bakeries, bummer.
only a Chinese Carrefour copycat, without the Boulangerie.
i see Carrefour on the map of the neighbourhood, but it's quite a distance away and braving the morning crush of cars/buses/bicycles/motorbikes isn't really my idea of a good way to start the day.
feel very hesitant about the train right now -- it's non-aircon too.
but... got wind lah, so mozzies should be blown away right? RIGHT??!?!?
26hours... how much can i talk to myself?
little voices in my head role-playing?
hmmm... with that amount of time, i can possibly stage a Greek tragedy complete with Chorus.
anyway, 26hrs later -- i.e.: Saturday evening, I will arrive in Xining, the capital of Qinghai province, which is basically the fringe of the ulu Tibetan plateau already.
i'm quite excited, cos after so long, i'm finally gonna meet Shauna, Rob the photog and Nimrod.
ah well. not in the mood to sit here much longer.
the mozzie bites are itching like hell (should've brought an industrial sized Mopiko!!) and my eyelid's swelling up even more.
hopefully i'll find time to blog when i get to Xining.
And that could be the last of my posts for a while to come.
meanwhile, hope all is well in SG, TGIF and have a great weekend.

I spent most of my 26hrs being preached at by the Nun.
she says that it's my fate to have met her and it's a sign that i should turn to Buddhism.
