By the time you guys see this post, I would be / would have transited at Bangkok's new Subrasomething Airport.

The day's been off to an OK start, as i scrambled to make sure i didn't forget anything (i have a nagging feeling i did), and struggled with my seemingly gigantic bag -- at check-in, i realised it was ONLY 11.5kg. tsk tsk, lousy me.

so anyway, hopefully by the time i get to Chengdu, Sim's would have had my ticket to Xining sorted out. otherwise, it will be Feli the Wong versus the Big Bad China Train Touts this evening.

wish me luck / good karma / fortune / blessing / whachamacallit.
i need all of it!

during my "grand aventure de la France", i constantly came into contact with things associated with Saint Michael, the patron Saint of travellers (am i right, Bernie/Addy?).
hopefully i get the same protection this time :)  - so much for agnotisticism / atheism huh.

alritey, i shall stop hogging the termy.
