Due to my misbehaving stomach, we cannot eat at local food places, much less sample any street food (no exotics, unlike starfish in China). On the bright side, we get to eat at all the places listed "TOP END" in the LonelyPlanet because 1) i need to make sure the food is clean - or supposed to be clean; and 2) Top End = US$4 per main course.
Enjoy the pictures of me enjoying food! And also some pictures of this crazy chaotic but characterful city. At 4,400m, La Paz is the world's highest capital, and it's essentially a massive jumble of VERY steep cobbled stone streets choked by minibuses, cabs, pedestrians and indigenous people selling crafts and all manner of strange witchcraft items!
Cheers,
Felicia.
