Had quite an uncomfortable bus ride on an overcrowded bus. The bus was cheap but the attendants kept picking up people on this Easter Sunday. Rob and I found that our seats were already occupied when we got on so we ended up with last row seats. 2 kids soon squished themselves behind us. One proceeded to elbow me in the head every 5 minutes (of the 6 hour ride) while the other snotty one jammed her head between our seats and kept sneezing on us. Children are vermin. I hate them.

Rob noticed that they were probably rather poor farm kids cos one girl had the front of her shoes cut open so her toes could come out now that she outgrew them. I felt bad stuffing my face with Snickers so we gave them a piece of chocolate each.

Didnīt help. They still jabbed me in the head and alternated between coughing and sneezing at us.

Arrived at bus station, bought tickets together with a Brit couple (med students) and we hung out with the for 6 hours, chatting at a restaurant. A typical "bleaaaaahhhh" traveling day.

Boarded bus at 2300hrs and we found that it was a full on tourist bus. This was THE bus to rob. No wonder guards checked passengers for guns before boarding. They played Vin Diesel "Triple X" on board. Ultra annoying. Urgh. Difficult to sleep.

(Clearly, my mood is quite bad now)

Not So Bad
I really donīt think it was THAT bad,... although the trail of snot running from the kids nose to your shoulder that I wiped up before you saw, was slightly disgusting.
