Biometric passport - check

Pack my bags - AAAAH!!!

I had tried to impose strict discipline and bring only 2 bags - i.e.: 1 backpack and 1 duffel, and was rather pleased when at 11pm last night, I had stuffed everything into the alloted space.

Then I glanced at my packing list and *GASP*

I didn't bring my 2 pairs of heels, nor pack the gifts I bought for Rob and his family - which, in retrospect, it seems like a bought a LOT of stuff.

So now I have 1 x omg heavy backpack, 1 x mid-sized duffel and 1 x small duffel (the gift from Shuhui, Andrea & Grace).

Urrrrghhh. I'm glad I have 64kg baggage allowance, although I do wish I could check in the small duffel too.

[Aside: Ok, i just realised i forgot my small travel pouch thingy and i forgot my sandals. And my bags are already stuffed. URRRGH!!!]

Clearly, this is my worst trip prep ever. Working all the way till Friday, a packed weekend, packed Monday & Tuesday.... explains why, 3hours before my check-in time, I'm sitting here feeling jittery and wondering why I'm such a frenzied mess.

But as Rob always says, "Don't worry, it'll be alright".

I hope he's right.

SO! Here's the deal: I fly at 1715hrs, arrive in Manila at 2045hrs, transit for 1hr plus and jet off to Los Angeles at 2200hrs.

I get to LAX at 1835hrs, and I should be just in time for a massive lunar eclipse, according to Rob. WOW!

Essentially I'll use this blog when I start travelling in South America on March 6, because I don't think my domestic exploits in California will be especially blog-worthy (grocery store... clean the house...).
