Recently voted one of the 'Top 10 Zoos in the World", Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane, Australia, is the world's first and largest koala sanctuary, with over 130 koalas. You can Cuddle a koala, handfeed kangaroos and encounter a large variety of Aussie wildlife, all in beautiful, natural settings.

I took my Mum last year when she came to visit last year and I realised it was a must for any visitor to Brisbane.  The cruise on the Mirimar too around an hour to get there taking in all the sights along the river.  We relaxed enjoying a bacon & egg roll with a cold stubbie.

Dad and Hugo just relaxed right into it and where happy to be close to some of the animals but equally happy to have fences and glass between them and the native crocs and snakes!!

On the whole it was a great way to finish of the Brisbane part of Dad and Hugo's trip...

Next stop...gold coast :)
