Well today I did it. I finally checked out the sites of Ol' London Town! Shailie took me on the mother of all tours - designed so that I could say I have seen the greatest amount of sites possible whilst still spending half of the day shopping. We are definately related!
You can't say you have experienced a "big crowd" until you have attempted to walk underneath the London Eye on a Saturday morning! Even more importantly, you can't say you've been entertained by an Aussie girl who hates crowds with a passion until you've met my cousin and witnessed her 'crowd surfing' skills!!! HIGLIGHTS OF THE DAY: **Big Ben **Houses of Parliament **House of Commons **Westminster Abbey **Hyde Park
**Declining the invite of tea and scones with the queen, for hot chocolate with Shailie in the park **Debating whether the perfectly posed and behaved squirrels attended a government funded training school to draw more tourists into the country. **The great red double-decker buses like in Postman Pat or Fireman Sam or Thomas the Tank Engine or Bob the Builder.....erg - can somebody help me out here?!!! **The cold, old Scotsman playing bagpipes on the bridge **Going on a (failed) mission to find thermal undies for Canada **Checking out the 'House of Poets' that I'd read about in the Da Vinci Code **Going to the pub with James, Shai, and their mates **Seeing a DOG in the pub!! (what the?)
**Having Indian for dinner at 9:30pm because waiting for the 10:15pm reservation would have killed us! **Learning that not all of London's Bridges are falling down More thumbnails ...
