Capital
Entry 59 of 76 | show all | print this entry |
Flew into the capital of New Zealand. Had a look around the good looking harbour and the very informative and more importantly free musem, Ti Papa. Was quite tempted to do the Lord of the Rings tour, which takes you to Rivendale and alike, but tales of people in full elf costume and hobbit feet put me off.
Bumped into Harriet and Katheryn, and headed out on the sauce, six jagerbombs later boogied the night away in one of the local cheese clubs.
Wellington has a reputation for the windy city, and didn't disappoint. Windy and foggy. So foggy that after the night of the Jagerbombs, you could hardly see the ferry leaving without us!
