After a six hour bus journey, Harriet's dodgey fish burger and my reaction from the malaria tablets we didn't feel much like adventuring. Got a stonking curry in for dinner then headed back to the guesthouse to catch a couple of films.
The next day we took advantage of the cheap internet cafes that are scattered all round Vietiane to catch up on e-mails. Ended the day sipping a beer Lao (a lovely tipple), watching the sun set over the Mekong - it's a hard life. More thumbnails ...
