After an awful night sleep Marg and I woke up around four in the morning and with Margaret we started thinking about everything that has been happening in the last 24 hours. We finally got up and started to pass call in Australia and Malawi to explain the situation and really this organisation is nowhere ready to accommodate families as it was depicted in the brochure. Anyway them came and got us out back to their headquarters in the centre of town. So after talking over our options we decided to go spend a few days on the sure of Lake Malawi. I know I know it sounds awful to leave this place and go to a luxury hotel but trust me after the night we just had... and to top it all, my right eye now is starting to give me grief. So after lunch we all piled up in a van for the 4 hours long journey to Monkey Bay and the resort of Pumulani. You really need a 4x4 to do the last quarter of the trip. Interesting ride as we saw a lot more of country Malawi and we took the road close to the Mozambique border, literally the road is the border; one side is Malawi and the other side Mozambique. The reception over there was amazing and we settle in for the night as if nothing happened.
