-we drove through Westport, by the Swing Bridge, into Richmond and stopped at Robbie's Beer Café, Harrigton's but no flights so free taster's, guess they don't want to bother with the dishes, liked their Pig & Whistle, tasty ribs
-drove up to Abel Tasman NP, Golden Bay, Pupu Springs, saw some waterfalls, Takaka
-tried Money Wizard (ambergris-whale spit!? in beer), Stoke, Sprig & Fern and a stop in Free House
-paid for showers at a campsite
-continued the following day with tastings at Moutere Inn (oldest pub in NZ), Neudorf Vineyards (good Rose and Riesling) who supplied Hobbit Pinot Noir at a showing but not my fave (we like to document everything and started to notice that our camera was acting up a lot more frequently by not zooming or off on its focus...it lasted this long, just a few more months, poor shutter has got to be exhausted), Golden Bear (guy from Santa Monica...bad service and beer not so good)
-loved the vibe and beer offerings in Nelson, seems as though they have their fair share of vineyards too
-we had to press on the next day to Kaikora (didn't see any large mammals, just seals), stopped in Kaiapoi and saw a great sunset while we had a car picnic
