Noosa
-drove up the coast as much as possible and had a quick look around Noosa, nice/upscale
-picnic dinner with a view of boats and no see ums attacked me, should have known better

Airlie Beach
-
lots of road construction slowed us down, 7 hr drive
-rushed to book Whitsunday's as there were few openings due to it being summer, got free place to use Internet out of it, booked hostel too
-pizza and beers for Steve's b-day dinner
-things didn't go as planned so we pushed off the birthday festivities for the next couple of days as who wants to spend 7 hrs in a car for their birthday?!
-got up the next day and made brekkie
-walked around Airlie Beach and swam in the lagoon
-drove around Shute Harbour and bbq'd at the free sites, steack and salad with a delicious chocolate mud birthday cake, shared it with a homeless guy
-speed boat to the Whitsunday's, stinger suits, snorkeling, coral and massive fish, white sand, private-ish beach for lunch on a boulder facing the ocean, slipped coming down and ripped my board shorts, tons of pictures of the breath taking views, love the fast boats, not a fan of slow anything, dolphins playing in the water, Hook Island and Whitehaven Beach
-got Steve an acrobatic bi-plane ride as a gift, he filmed it in air and I filmed him from the ground, it was like a rollercoaster off the tracks and super high in the air
-pulled off a fun birthday, just a bit late!
-so is the world going to end....
