It was a bit cloudy early on in the day but then the sun came out and when it hit the mist of the falls just right, we got to see that famous rainbow. Of course we took a million pictures of the falls. My mom warned me to be careful while taking pix because a Japanese woman recently was on some edge, with an umbrella in hand and fell to her death! They couldn't find her for days, until she washed up on the US side. YIKES!
We took another ride in the Maid of the Mist and the ponchos provided kept us dry for the most part. It's like an amusement park ride but with awesome, up close, views of the American and Canadian falls. Later that night we returned to see the falls lit up in colors of the rainbow. As I was looking at the falls, I waited for some fairies to fly by and maybe a unicorn but that never happened. Very dreamy...
