We kinda did this backwards, starting in Yorktown and ending with Jamestown. Yorktown, was the site that, generally speaking, ended the Revolutionary War. Williamsburg is a historic village where you can see what life would have been like in the colonial era. Jamestown was the first successful British settlement in the new land of America. All three of these sites are connected by the National Park Services Colonial Parkway. We love to get maximum usage from our NP Annual Passes!

The highlight was the Movie Tavern in Williamsburg. We bought tix for Super 8 but it wasn't the movie that caught our eyes. The theater was set up nontraditional in that there were rolling office chairs, lit up desks, beer and table delivery service for meals and drinks! Now that was by far more interesting...har har.
