Stop….let me explain how the day stated.
We may have moved sites from the one we thought was on the Freeway however the Freeway must have diverted, traffic all night with major traffic starting at about 5am, good thing we went to bed early! Up early plenty of time to do some washing, for those that regularly caravan you’ll know once you arrive at a park you check toilets then cost of washing. I had popped in and checked that these machines were $5.00. So armed with basket and money I then discover that is for a small load, medium load $6 large load $7……and it’s weighed by the machine. For that price they would want to wash dry and put it away! With no other choice I purchase a percentage of the machine and vow to tell the world of my outrage (or at least trip advisor and the couple of people suffering through my blog)
Ok now we can go to Wet and Wild……..Blowing an absolute gale, it should be called Wet and Windy, clearly the majority of visitors in the queue are Victorians on holidays with kids jumping up and down
Trying to pick the mood up and as it’s not far down the road we stop for our Sizzler fix (really need one back in Vic) and then head back to the van to discover the gold plated washing now lying on the ground as my clothes-horse couldn’t stand up to the wind. Oh well it started clean.
Bill and I go for a walk around the park and get talking to a family who have the site closest to the road, we ask how they cope with the noise, they explain they actually ask for that site as they have four kids who sleep through the traffic noise and when the first of them wakes in the morning it doesn’t wake the others as the road noises covers talking, a silver lining love it.
Seaworld tomorrow…..Mad Mackay’s
